I am drawn by wild, untamed landscapes. Places where I can disconnect from a lot of social influxes and recharge my mind. Beauty, however, can also be found in places that only in the very first moment appear like a natural landscape but show more influences by man than one might think. The Tuscany region in central Italy is such a place. Endless rolling hills, poppy and wheat fields, cypress groves and old estates and villages form a perfectly harmonic landscape - and are entirely the results of thousands of years of cultivation. This metamorphosis yielded enchanting results and the visual feast comes along with other ameneties like excellent food and wine.
